Powerful!

Talented, Respectful, Aspiring, Powerful (T.R.A.P.)  will inspire, motivate, and prepare your child to excel academically and within their community. Members of T.R.A.P. are provided with mentoring, enrichment programs, educational and fun field trips, workshops, empowerment sessions, free tutoring, college, and workforce readiness. We also serve our community through social awareness workshops, community service, and empowerment sessions.

Inspire. Motivate. Prepare. - by helping young men and women build self-esteem, positive self -image, and meaningful relationships by helping them develop goals, social skills, and equip members with the necessary tools to be successful in life.

           Our Mission is delivered by

  providing members with the following:

• Community Service

• Educational and fun field trips

• Empowerment sessions

• Enrichment programs

• Free tutoring

• Mentoring

• Mental Health Awareness

Members will also participate in fundraisers, earn awards, stipends, and will be taught basic life skills.

Each member will also, have an opportunity to express their unique talent(s), or athleticism and acquire both entrepreneurship and leadership skills.

Through educational field trips and activities members will be introduced to the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).

​

We are aware that youth today are involved in or receiving similar services in school, other youth programs, or church groups and organizations. However, everyone's T.R.A.P. experience is unique and we will assist your child in developing skills and excelling academically and in the community.
